Who says adults can't rock overalls?!? When I saw these overalls in Zara over the summer it was love at first sight and when I tried them on I knew they had to be mine! I mean to be completely honest I thought my Kriss Kross, overalls with one strap to the back days ended in 10th grade but I have had a change of heart! Clearly, overalls can be worn at any age!
Last week I met with the producers of a local day time television show and they did a segment with me at this really cool spot downtown with graffitti all over the walls! The segment was "A Day in The Life of a Fashion Blogger"! I was thrilled for the opportunity and welcomed the chance to speak on my experiences as a blogger! You guys have to check it outhere!
Every year I am amazed at the things I have been able to accomplish as a blogger! Last year, I was on a different show right before school started to give my fellow teachers tips on how to be fashionable in the classroom (here) and this year a feature on just me, lil' ole me! But the most gratifying part of it all is having readers who enjoy stopping by on a regular basis! Besides this being a hobby for me, you guys are who I do it for! If I don't say it enough, I appreciate you all! You're all "friends in my head"!
I've been blogging for a while now and what started off as a creative outlet has afforded many things for me like new friends who enjoy the same things I do, a new love for the city I live in, invites to private restaurant tastings and events, a lot more creativity, and opportunities to speak on television about two things I love, fashion and food! Yes, there are way more successful bloggers than me by a long stretch, but these things are far more than I ever expected when I first started.
I am definitely humbled and grateful for anything that comes along with being a blogger and will continue to do it as long as possible. For those of you who read my posts and support me, love ya, mean it!
