Hi Dolls,
As 2016 comes to a close and I reflect over the year I've had, I can say that I am truly grateful! Grateful for the good and all the blessings bestowed upon me and grateful for the not so good because I always use those moments as opportunities for growth. I am excited for the new year! I'm excited for things I have planned and I'm excited for all the good getting ready to come my way! Yes, I am claiming it, putting in the atmosphere, and thanking God in advance! Of course, one thing I plan on doing is kicking my blog up another notch!
I've been blogging for a while now and my growth has been slow but steady! I see other bloggers who have had great success and I often find myself wondering how can I get to that level. Everyone has a webinar here and a tutorial there and it seems completely overwhelming. Then I remember why I started blogging in the first place and I'm brought back down to reality. I do it because I LOVE it and it makes me happy!
When I think about how good I feel typing up a blog post and sharing outfits and restaurant reviews with my blog family, there's absolutely nothing to complain about! Even if there's one person who enjoys stopping over at High Heels and Good Meals, I have fulfilled my mission!
I have no intentions on stopping anytime soon!
Now on to what I'm wearing! Last summer I took an amazing trip to Ecuador! It was one of the most amazing experiences I've had to date and while there we went to a market where I found this gorgeous poncho!
It's made with alpaca fur and it's so soft and so beautiful! The color is vibrant and happens to be my favorite color! When I saw it, there wasn't too much convincing to get me to purchase it! The weather this winter has been so fickle so the day I wore this, I was a little too warm! When it decides to actually get cold, I'm sure this poncho will keep me very cozy!

These boots are so stylish and unbelievably comfortable! Plus they are on sale right now over at ShoeDazzle along with some great $10 deals!!!
So what are your plans for the New Year?
Besides everything I've already mentioned, redecorating my house, cooking more, and of course, hitting the gym up more, are all high up on my to-do list! If I don't post again before Sunday, have an amazing New Year and be safe New Year's Eve! And as always, thank you so much for stopping by!
XOXO
