Hi Dolls!

I'm from San Antonio so naturally I am a sucker for fresh and tasty Tex-Mex food especially when it comes to tacos, quesadillas, and burritos!  When Tijuana Flatsreached out to me to come try some goodies that will be available for the month of February, I jumped at the opportunity! Tijuana's is my favorite place to go for chicken and steak flautas!  Besides the great food, service is always on point, the hot sauce bar is sure to give you a chuckle, and you can't help but admire all of the vibrant artwork throughout each restaurant!  Plus their "Tijuana Tuesdaze" deal is pretty hard to beat with 2 tacos, chips-n-salsa, and a drink for under $6 bucks!
After a successful ground turkey promotion last year, Tijuana Flats will be offering turkey chorizo as a protein option for the month of Febraury!  You will be able to get turkey in all of the traditional Tijuana Flats dishes!  Last week I had the pleasure of sampling some of these dishes and I have to start with my absolute fav of the evening, none other than the Hangover Burrito!
This #badmotherstuffer is a limited-time, signature Turkey Chorizo dish but I really hope they consider adding this to the menu indefinitely!
I can see why it's called the "Hangover Burrito"!  It has turkey chorizo, of course, fried eggs, potatoes, cheese, and jalapenos.  All the ingredients to help you get over a rough night of partying!  The flavors go together perfectly as this was one tasty burrito!
The other dishes we tried that evening were pretty good as well!  This was the no-ritto bowl.  That's right, everything you'd find in a burrito without the burrito!  I love the play on words there!  I see more of this dish as future lunches!
I love it when tortilla chips have meat and melty cheese on them so the Turkey Tostadas were definitely another favorite for the evening!  They were very flavorful!
What's a trip to Tijuana Flats without flautas???  I was thrilled when they brought out the ground turkey flautas!  They were so good!  These lightly fried, crunchy yet chewy flautas get me every time!  And did you know they sell a dessert flauta as well? I didn't!
It's just wrong to end a meal with out dessert!  These were the Cookie Dough Flautas.  The cookie dough is stuffed into the tortillas, lightly fried, topped with powdered sugar, and served with  chocolate dipping sauce.  I have one word, SINFUL!

I had lots of fun at the tasting event and needless to say I was pretty stuffed by the time I left!  It was totally worth it though because the dishes were delicious!  Make sure you stop in at your nearest Tijuana Flats in February to get your own taste of the new, limited-time only, Turkey Chorizo in one of your favorite dishes!
As always, thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great week!
XOXO
