I'm always down for a healthy meal that doesn't lack in the flavor department so I was excited to meet up with my friend, Krystle for lunch at Tropical Smoothie Cafeyesterday! I've always enjoyed their smoothies and wraps so lunch was a no brainer. This particular day we were in the mood for something a "little naughty and something a little nice" so we decided to try some of their limited time offer menu items!
The Blueberry Pom Truffle smoothie was sinfully devine! It is made with Ghirardelli white chocolate! I mean, come on!!! They had me at Ghirardelli! It was very good and super sweet. Krystle was happy to stake her claim over this "naughty" smoothie and I happily indulged in the Blueberry Bliss smoothie which was the perfect mix of bluberries, strawberries, and banana!
They also have new grilled chicken sandwiches on brioche, which is one of my favorite types of bread and for the first time ever, Tropical Smoothie Cafe has partnered with FRANK'S Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce to spice up the new Island Buffalo Sandwich! Needless to say, we had to try this sandwich!
This sandwich was everything you want in a hot wing...on a bun! It was made with grilled chicken, mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese, topped with tangy, house-made slaw tossed in citrus dressing, and covered in a mouthwatering buffalo cheese spread. It was definitely an exciting flavor combination!
Avocado and bacon are two of my favorite things so I was also excited to try The Moho Mojo Chicken Club! This sandwich is served with bacon, avocado, a zesty mojo sauce, and is topped with a signature slaw to satisfy anyone craving a delicious, full-flavored sandwich!
This new line of hand-crafted sandwiches will not disappoint anyone looking for a hearty yet exciting bold take on a classic chicken sandwich and the delectable smoothies are perfect for satisfying a mid-afternoon sweet tooth!
