Hey Lovelies,
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cafe Intermezzo! I am so glad my friend recommended it. It is certainly a great place for brunch with delicious food and phenomenal coffee. There were 10 of us so I called about an hour and a half ahead to reserve seating and when we got there, we were seated right away! You can't beat that kind of service! As always, thanks so much for stopping by!
XOXO
I was recently in Atlanta and I've been looking at my calendar trying to figure out when I can make my way back. I've always enjoyed my visits to the ATL but this time was by far the best! It probably has something to do with the fact that I was with my friends for a bachelorette weekend, partying it up in celebration of my friend, Krystle, who recently got married but I digress. There are soooo many amazing places to eat at in Atlanta. It is like a foodie's paradise. Another friend back home suggested we go to Cafe Intermezzo and I've been longing to return ever since we left.
It reminds you of a European bistro as soon as you walk in. It has a beautiful interior with ornate chandeliers and hard wood floors.
The food was delicious and the coffee was the absolute best! Per the recommendation of our waiter, I got the Cioccoloccino Bianco, made with Dutch white chocolate, steamed in cream and milk with espresso and schlag! It was hands down, the best cappuccino I've ever tasted! I was slightly upset when I drank it all!
Here is some of what us ladies had:
French Toast w/ Bananas and Walnuts:
It comes as described and you get a lot of it!
Croque Madame:
Crossaint stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and an egg, topped with Parmesan cheese.
Seafood Dip:
Made with shrimp, scallops, crab, parmesan and cream cheese, roasted red peppers, cayenne. and black peppers. Served with crackers and bread.
Toffee French Toast:
Made with Challa bread soaked in cinnamon rum, drizzled with warm Mezzo toffee sauce and butter. This was my dish and all I can say is OMG! It was so decadent and delicious! Quick story, the portion was large so I had some left over and needed a to go box. I made plans to heat my leftovers up in the oven later on and guess what I did....left my left-over box on the table in the restaurant. This almost brought real tears to my eyes lol!
